Most of the people reading this probably has a cell phone. Below, the first video tells alot about this type of radiation and other types such as powerlines. Warning:computers, tvs, vacuum cleaners and almost anything that runs on electricity gives off radiation.
That picture only shows thermal radiation.. cell phones are use radio waves.. the reason that the ear is hotter than the surrounding area is A) the skull is thinner at that area allowing heat to escape and B) since his hand was up to his ear for fifteen minutes.
